One of my fellow magic makers in The Coven mentioned that she’d started reading Untamed (by Glennon Doyle) and was impacted by a certain section around sensitive people. Centuries ago, people who were super sensitive were revered and named as shamans, medicine people and healers in the village. Why? Because they sense, feel, see or hear things that the majority don’t sense, feel, see or hear. It’s within this sensitivity that healing can arise. As per the book: “Nothing can be healed if it’s not sensed first.” Today, for those of us who are sensitive, we can feel like we’re broken, we’re not valued, we can’t be ourselves and we can’t speak up. Because we’re the opposite of what the masses revere. I think we have gotten caught up in being part of the majority. Our survival instinct of belonging wants us (and has conditioned us) to want to belong to the majority. Because, centuries ago, if you were kicked out of the tribe, your likelihood of survival was basically ZERO. But that doesn't mean the majority is resourceful, empowering or even - dare I say it - "right". The more and more of us who choose to be willing to show our sensitivity, our vulnerability and our authentic selves will eventually become the majority. For now, we BELONG in the minority. We still belong. But not everyone will "get" us. And that's okay. Because we're the magic makers; we're paving a new path; we have our own North Stars to follow - not the North Stars that have been marketed to us by society and media.

Love, light and abundance, Olga xx (PS I highly recommend the book Untamed by Glennon Doyle. I found it an easy read with digestible nuggets of gold that got me thinking.)
