I am the lighthouse

I have been so fearful of putting myself out there into something new and unknown, but then I remember I AM A LIGHTHOUSE...

(At the time of writing) I was in a FABULOUS mastermind called The Coven - lead by Business Witch, Nikki Wouters: Coach & Creator.

One of my fellow magic makers shared how challenged she felt promoting herself and putting herself out there – which I TOTALLY resonate with. 

I find it challenging to put myself out there around my new business: Wild and Wise circles and coaching.

I’m fine with BoogieCamp – because I’ve been doing that for years. I have evidence of my awesomeness as a Zumba Gold Instructor and Latin Dance Teacher. I have built up my confidence since starting BoogieCamp in 2008.

But stepping into something NEW and UNKNOWN with my new business Wild & Wise...

EEEK!

Oh my goodness, so much hiding, so much procrastination, so much worry about "getting it right", so much fear around being judged.

MY AHA #1:

I remind myself of The Coven call we had on Sunday, where I had a breakthrough around the LIGHTHOUSE.

Self promotion is like being a lighthouse that shines its light for others to follow or be drawn to. 

There’s not much point of a lighthouse in the dark without its light on. 

I AM A LIGHTHOUSE

How else can people find me if I don't have my light on?

MY AHA #2:

I have made a choice to reduce my BoogieCamp classes over the next few months, so that my body can restore and heal. 

And I’m noticing how quickly I step into the future of not having those “to-be-discontinued” classes in my schedule. I’m living in that future, which is not HERE yet. I hadn’t been coming back to where I am now and taking action from the present moment. 

My second AHA was: Instead of stepping into the future of the choices I've made this week, I need to consciously move through my next phase (over the next few months) with the intention of closing all loops.

MY AHA #3:

How can I do my business in a way that lights me up?

For any business decisions, choose options where I can say YES to myself AND say YES to the business.
