Curious about women's circles?  

Women’s circles are an ancient tradition where women gather to ground, connect, reflect and share with each other. 

In a women's circle, women feel safe enough to open up, be real and vulnerable, and to authentically share themselves. 

I invite you to experience a taste of being in circle with me, which includes activities such as meditation, intuitive dance, reflection prompts, journalling and chanting.

Note: Circle tasters are pre-recorded and as such they don't offer a circle sharing experience. I recommend doing the circle together with other women in your life.

Connect Deeper with Yourself through Journalling

What is journalling?

Journalling involves writing down your thoughts and feelings. You can journal in response to reflective questions and to what's been happening in your life. You can create a ritual to journal every day on whatever is coming up for you. There is no right or wrong way to journal.

Benefits of Journalling:

  • Writing things down is a great way to understand, process and release your emotions.
  • Journalling provides a healthy outlet during uncertainty and challenges, and can improve your mental wellbeing.
  • Focusing on positive journal entries (like a gratitude journal) helps to manage anxiety and reduce stress.
  • Journalling is a powerful way to do inner work, gain insights, grow and heal, and become more self-aware.

Let's Move!

​I love using music and movement in my women's circles to breathe into my body, sound out what I'm feeling, and surrender to how my body desires to move.

The idea is to release any conditioning around the movement needing to be structured, or "dance-y", or to "look good".

Performing Rituals & Being Creative

Depending on the theme of the women's circle, an activity might include performing a ritual or being creative.

​For example, in the "Own Your Voice" Women's Circle, we created a Vision Mask. 

The vision mask represents your future self, your vision, the you that you are in the state of becoming, the real you.

Are you a chanter?

I'm a massive fan of chanting and especially Kirtan (sacred yoga chanting). I love the singing aspect of Kirtan (which is to music), with the mantras giving my monkey mind something to focus on. I love the meditative space it creates for me. I love how it exercises my inner organs with the deeper breathing that's required to chant.
 
So, naturally, I love to include some type of chanting or vocal toning in my women's circles!
 
This is a Goddess Lakshmi Chant you can do, which I borrowed from Christina Gagnier.
