Styling Station Milton
- Personal Clothes Styling Sessions
Styling Station Milton offers personal fashion styling sessions with a focus on paying it forward and reducing fashion waste.
I booked a personal styling session at Styling Station Milton in October 2023. And I absolutely LOVED LOVED LOVED it! It was a really safe and nurturing space.
I got to try on a whole bunch of different outfits, some of which I probably wouldn't have considered. Interestingly what I tried on ranged from size 16 to size 24. Just goes to show how wide ranging a sizes can be and how daunting it can be trying to find shops with clothes for me and knowing what size I am in that shop!
I learned what shapes best suited me (empire lines were a big win for me) and why others weren't so great (square necklines). I also realised how much I wasn't playing around creatively with my wardrobe and not allowing my personality to be fully expressed through my wardrobe (in my non active wear).
I'm definitely up for a bit more play! Since my personal styling session, I have been trying more brighter stuff and garments that would go with the clothes to got from the styling session. I now have the willingness to expand my comfort zone from the different perspective I was gifted from the styling session.
Also, I loved that it was a win win win. I paid $120 for an hour with a stylist. I was gifted 3 garments to take home - clothing that suited me and I liked. Those garments were diverted from landfill. By me paying for a session, I get to pay it forward for another woman who doesn't have the resources to pay.
In short, I highly recommend booking a styling session with Styling Station. There's also free parking at the front - bonus!! And you can book in a group for a fun friend date! You can view more on my Facebook post here.

I have since shared about my experience at Stying Station Milton several times on social media.
Why?
I'm sharing because this process has enabled me to feel so much freer and more liberated - and way more confident in myself and my body. I feel sexy and feminine AF.
I'd been wanting to reconnect with the funky and sassy part of myself for quite some time.
But I was stuck.
Yes, my active wear is bright and colourful but that vibrance didn't necessarily translate to the parts of my wardrobe.
Where do I go to find clothes for my size and shape? Do I have to go from store to store and figure out what works for me on my own? The thought of that felt so daunting and exhausting. So, I didn't do anything.
I'd been talking about getting a personal styling session since mid 2022. So when I was recommended Styling Station Milton, I booked in!
My stylist chose outfits for me to try on. All I had to do was try the selected outfits on, learn what best suited me and how to wear it from my stylist, and then choose what I loved.
What I realised was that I was playing it safe with my wardrobe, trying to stick to the rules. I wasn't allowing my personality to shine in my wardrobe. I realise now that I can be way more playful with what I choose to adorn my body with. I'm so excited now about wearing my new outfits. And I'm feeling much more confident about going clothes shopping.
I'm also less attached to sizing. A size is just a number for that brand.
MY SECOND IMPORTANT POINT is about the power of getting experts to support you to achieve your outcome quicker.
I could have gone around to all the shops in a shopping centre. However, that would have cost me a LOT of time and energy.
Or I could invest in an hour with an expert to get me to where I desired quicker.
Where in your life could you ask for support from friends and experts?

So here's a recap of the outfits I got from (or was inspired by) the Styling Station Milton (personal styling) session back in October.
